National real estate and advisory firm, LAWD, has launched LAWD Auctions, a new online platform for the sale of agricultural plant and machinery across Australia.
With the inaugural auction taking place later this month, LAWD Auctions will be led by some of the most respected names in plant and machinery, including Paul Milner, Bryan McNeilly and Richard Skellern, ideally complementing LAWD’s existing lines of service and its national network of rural property specialists.
LAWD Chief Executive Officer, Enda Foley, said the business was excited by the new opportunities LAWD Auctions would present to the market.
“As a business deeply committed to the agriculture sector, and the nation’s leader in agribusiness transactions and valuations, it makes sense for us to introduce a new line of service that so well complements our existing offering,” Mr Foley said.
“This is an expansion that has been driven by our focus on meeting the needs of our clients. We have many on both the buy and sell side who either want to clear their equipment before the sale of a property, or purchase machinery as they enter into a new transaction.
“Our highly experienced team will be led by Paul Milner whose 30 years’ experience as an auctioneer and plant and machinery specialist in Australia and abroad will ensure our offering mirrors the quality of the rest of the business.”
Mr Milner said he was thrilled to be working with the LAWD team and using his expertise to help LAWD Auctions become a market leader.
“It’s been an exciting and busy few months working closely with the broader LAWD team to establish the new business service line and appointing a fantastic team of experienced and well-connected people,” Mr Milner said.
“We have industry veterans Richard Skellern and Bryan McNeilly on board, who are well known here in Australia and abroad, as well as Matt Hannaford as Director of Valuations, James Daley and James Moore as Sales Directors, and Victoria Cooper as Operations Manager.
“Collectively we have more than 150 years’ experience in the sector and are busy preparing for our first auction later this month which will feature a range of tractors and harvest equipment located in Western Australia.”
LAWD’s focus on meeting client needs has driven the latest expansion of the business’ lines of service to complement existing offerings in agribusiness, development real estate, corporate advisory and specialist valuations.
LAWD Auctions’ inaugural Unreserved Western Australia Agriculture Plant and Machinery Online Auction will commence on 21 February with a range of combine harvesters – including John Deere, CASE IH and CLAAS – available. This will be followed by an auction of equipment located in various areas of South Australia.
Leveraging the existing LAWD network, the LAWD Auctions team will be positioned to service clients located across the country.
